US top intelligence officer says President Donald Trump has asked Pakistan to "cease" being a safe haven for terrorists that threaten the United States. US has suspended about two billion dollar in security aid to Islamabad for failing to clamp down on the Afghan Taliban and the Haqqani Network terror groups and dismantle their safe havens.<br/>'<br/>CIA Director Mike Pompeo said today that United States see the Pakistanis continuing to provide safe harbour, havens inside of Pakistan for terrorists who present risks to the United States of America. CBS television quoted him as saying Washington has given Islamabad a chance and if they fix the problem, United States is happy to continue to engage with Pakistan and be their partner.
