President Pranab Mukherjee will launch a nationwide mass communication campaign against malnutrition next week.

A Rashtrapati Bhawan statement said the campaign event would be launched on November 19 to commemorate the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi .

A decision was taken in this regard by the Prime Minister-led National Council on India's Nutrition Challenges.On the same day, Mukherjee will inaugurate the silver jubilee celebrations of the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA).

The Delhi-based IGNCA is a research institution which works to promote works in music, dance, visual arts, sciences, lifestyles, fairs, festivals, literature, linguistics, photography, archaeology and any aspect involving aesthetics.
