President Pranab Mukherjee will start his six day visit to Jordan, Palestine and Israel tomorrow.<br/><br/>Union Minister Thaawar Chand Gehlot, six Members of Parliament and eminent academicians will accompany the President on the state visit.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports, the visit to these countries is the first ever by an Indian President.<br/><br/>In the first leg, Mr Mukherjee will visit Jordan, where he will meet King Abdullah and have discussions on various issues.<br/><br/>The Indian President will also address the Senate and make a Public speech at University of Jordan.<br/><br/>In the second leg of the visit, Mr Mukherjee will visit Palestine on 12th and 13th October. He will hold meetings with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah and other leaders.<br/><br/>In the last leg, Mr Mukherjee will visit Israel from 13th October to 15th October.<br/><br/>During the visit, he will meet Israeli President Reuven Rivlin and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.<br/><br/>The two sides will sign several MoUs in the fields of Culture, Education and Science and Technology.<br/><br/>He will also address the Israeli Parliament, Knesset.<br/><br/>The visit of Mr Mukherjee to these countries is significant as it is expected to boost the bilateral relations of India with these countries.
