President Pranab Mukherjee will present Shilp Guru and National Awards to master crafts persons today in New Delhi. Mr Mukherjee will honored 21 master crafts persons with Shilp Guru and 59 with National Awards for the year 2012, 2013 and 2014. <br/><br/>The main objective of the Awards is to give recognition to master crafts persons for their excellence in craftsmanship and valuable contribution to Indian Handicrafts. The Shilp Guru award consist of a gold coin, 2 lakhs rupees cash, a Tamrapatra, an Angavastram and a certificate where as National Award consist of 1 lakh rupees cash, a Tamrapatra, an Angavastram and a certificate.
