The President Mrs Pratibha Devisingh Patil will give away the 58th National Film Awards at a function in New Delhi on Friday.

Veteram Film maker K. Balachander will be conferred the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke Award for the year – 2010. The Awards will be given different categories. Malayalam Film 'Adaminte Makan Abu' has bagged Swarana Kamal in the category of Best Feature Film while Hindi Film 'Do Dooni Char' is being awarded for Best Hindi Film category.

Talking to AIR correspondent Director Film Festival Anil Saxena has said that four Child Artist have won the national awards this time for various Films.

The Minister for Information and Broadcasting Mrs Ambika Soni will also grace the occasion.
