President Pranab Mukherjee will inaugurate today the Centenary Celebrations of the Osmania University and take part in the first convocation of the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) in Hyderabad. He will arrive at Hyderabad's Begumpet airport this morning from Goa. Elaborate arrangements have been made for his brief visit and security has been beefed up at all venues and the routs which he will move in the city today.<br/><br/>The President will formally open the three-day centenary celebrations of the Osmania University, one of the oldest educational institutes of the country. The University is the largest institute in Asia with maximum number of affiliated colleges of over 1000 with about 5.5 lakh students. The president will also take part in the first convocation of the English and Foreign Languages University-EFLU, a Central University and giveaway gold medals to a few students who excel in their studies.
