President Pranab Mukherjee will inaugurate the 8th Annual Convention of the Central Information Commission in New Delhi today. The theme of the two-day convention is 8 years of RTI- a retrospective. Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pension, V Narayanasamy will also address the convention. Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is scheduled to deliver the valedictory address tomorrow.

An official release said it is for the first time, that the convention will discuss the causal relationship between the inclusive economic growth and RTI.
