President Pranab Mukherjee is embarking on a three day state visit to Nepal starting tomorrow. <br/><br/>This is the first visit by an Indian head of the state in 18 years to the neighbouring Himalayan country. <br/><br/>Mr. Mukherjee's visit is seen as a "goodwill friendship visit" on the invitation of Nepal President Bidya Devi Bhandari. A high-level delegation is accompanying the President. <br/><br/>During the visit, he will hold talks with the President, Prime Minister and other leaders of Nepal. Mr. Mukherjee is likely to have discussions on various bilateral, regional and international issues of significance like post-earthquake reconstruction projects, concerns of Madhesi community among others.
