India will be looking to further cementing its close ties with Nepal during the three day visit of President Pranab Mukherjee to Himalayan Nation starting from 2nd of next month. <br/><br/>During the visit, Mr. Mukherjee will hold talks with his Nepalese counterpart Bidya Devi Bhandari and have meetings with the Prime Minister and other leaders in Nepal on a wide array of issues of mutual interests.<br/><br/> Addressing media in New Delhi today, Joint Secretary in the External Affairs Ministry, Sudhakar Dalela said the special good will visit of the President is the first high-level visit from India since the formation of the new government in Kathmandu in August this year.<br/><br/> He said it reflects the priority that India attaches to further strengthening age-old unique partnership and people to people contact. with Nepal. <br/><br/>Apart from his official engagements in Kathmandu, the President will also visit Janakpur and Pokhara.
