<span style="color: #222222;">President Ram Nath Kovind will be the Chief Guest at the 23rd annual convocation of the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Bengaluru today. Governor Vajubhai Vala, Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa and state medical education minister Dr K Sudhakar will be present. The university will confer the Doctor of Science degree on renowned neurosurgeon Dr Alangar Satya Ranjan Das Hegde. As part of a three-day tour of the state, the President had graced the valedictory ceremony of the Aero India show on Friday and inaugurated the General Thimayya Museum in Madikeri yesterday. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The former residence of General Thimayya named Sunny Side has been converted into a museum. Chief of Defence Staff Bipin Rawat, General Officer Commanding and Colonel of the Kumaon and Naga Regiment Lt.Gen Rana Pratap Kalita among other dignitaries were present on this occasion. The President and the first lady Savita Kovind and daughter Swati Kovind also visited Talacauvery and offered puja to river Cauvery. This is for the first time for a President to visit Talacauvery, the abode of Goddess Cauvery.</span><br />''  <br />
