President scheduled to reach Kolkata tomorrow on 3-day visit

President Pranab Mukherjee is scheduled to reach Kolkata on a three-day visit to West Bengal tomorrow. The President, on Saturday evening, will inaugurate the 185th Anniversary of Calcutta Chamber of Commerce and also formally open the painting exhibition of Shahbuddin Ahmed in the city.<br/><br/>On Sunday-December 13th morning-Mr. Mukherjee is slated to deliver the Debranjan Mukherji Memorial Lecture at Raj Bhavan in Kolkata. Later he will attend an unveiling ceremony at a temple in adjacent Howrah. In the evening, Mr. Mukherjee will open the closing ceremony of the bicentenary celebrations of the Diocese of Calcutta at St. Paul Cathedral in the city. He will also grace the concluding function of 125th Birth Anniversary celebration of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru later in the evening.<br/><br/>On 14th December morning, the President is to deliver the Indira Gandhi Memorial Lecture at the Asiatic Society in Kolkata before leaving for Murshidabad. In the afternoon, Mr. Mukherjee will attend the prize distribution ceremony of KKM Memorial Gold Cup- Rural Football Tournament at Jangipur.
