President says India's culture and spiritual knowledge is celebrated across the world

President Ram Nath Kovind said that India's culture and spiritual knowledge is celebrated all across the world. He said India is among the world's oldest civilizations. He said Gita Press has spread spiritual knowledge to the masses by publishing quality books and making them available at low prices. Addressing the Centenary Celebrations of the Gita Press in Gorakhpur today, the President said Gita Press has served the nation by publishing quality spiritual books and it is the world's largest publisher of the Hindu religious texts.<br />'' <br />'' The President said he felt honoured to participate in the event of the institution where India's first President Dr. Rajendra Prasad paid a visit to inaugurate the main entrance gate of the building.<br />'' <br />'' Earlier, the President visited the Lila Chitra Mandir in the Press's complex.<br />'' <br />'' Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in his address said Gita Press has served Hinduism for decades by publishing spiritual texts and making these available at minimal rates.<br />'' <br />'' Governor Anandiben Patel said Gita Press must be applauded for making texts like Ramacharita Manas reach every house in the country.<br />'' <br />''President Ram Nath Kovind is on a four-day visit to Uttar Pradesh. Mr. Kovind will visit Maghar in Sant Kabirnagar tomorrow where he will pay homage to Kabir and offer prayers at his samadhi. Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will accompany the President. The President will also visit Varanasi tomorrow.
