President Pranab Mukherjee arrived in New Delhi this evening. Stating that his visit to Nepal was very successful he appreciated the cordial hospitality of the people and Government of Nepal. Mr. Mukherjee said, his visit reflects the priority that India attaches to strengthen the unique relation with Nepal.<br/><br/>Mr. Mukherjee said this while having a discussion with Indian journalists who accompanied him to Nepal. He said that he had fruitful discussions with Nepal's President Bidya Devi Bhandari, Prime Minister and various leaders. <br/><br/>He emphasized the role of knowledge partnership and the utility of research and development while speaking on a programme organised by Kathmandu University during his visit to Kathmandu. He also emphasised that promotion of tourism is an important factor for economic development of Janakpur.
