President Pranab Mukherjee today received the first copy of the book – Future of Indian Universities: Comparative and International Perspectives' from Nobel Laureate Professor Amartya Sen at a function held at Rashtrapati Bhavan. <br/><br/>The book complied by Professor C. Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor of JGU University and published by Oxford University Press was released by Professor Amartya Sen. <br/><br/>Speaking on the occasion, Mr Mukherjee said, India has a long history of higher education and urged to think about the future of Indian Universities as a continuation of India's rich history and heritage of education.
