President Pranab Mukherjee recalled the glory of the sacrifice of Guru Teg Bahadur on the eve of his Martyrdom Day. <br/><br/>In his message, the President said Guru Teg Bahadur was an embodiment of humility who transcended all barriers of caste, creed, race, religion and gender.<br/><br/>He appealed to people to rededicate themselves to the philosophy of selfless service to all, eschewing violence in thoughts and actions.
