In the second leg of his tri-nation visit, President Pranab Mukherjee today reached the Palestinian city of Ramallah. Mr Mukherjee paid his respects at the mausoleum of late Palestinian President Yasser Arafat. He was given a ceremonial reception by the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas at the Presidential palace. After the delegation level talks, several agreements will be signed later today. <br/><br/>The Indian President will Pay tribute at the bust of Mahatma Gandhi and also inaugurate a roundabout and a road named as Sharey-al-hind. Mr Mukherjee's historic visit to Palestine is the first ever state visit by an Indian president. He is accompanied by a high level delegation including Union minister Thaawar Chand Gehlot, MPs and eminent academicians.
