President Pranab Mukherjee arrived in Kolkata today on a two-day visit. West Bengal Governor, Keshri Nath Tripathi; State Minister Purnendu Basu and Chief Secretary, Basudeb Banerjee among others welcomed the President at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport.<br/><br/>The President is scheduled to inaugurate the new building of Vidyanagar College near Amtala in the South 24-Pargarnas district tomorrow. The college was founded 52 years ago. Later in the afternoon, he is to open the bi-centenary birth celebrations of Pandit Madan Mohan Tarkalankar, the doyen of Bengali education.
