President Pranab Mukherjee arrived in Hyderabad on a ten-day Southern sojourn this evening. Governor ESL Narasimhan, Telangana Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao and his cabinet colleagues besides Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya and senior officials received him at Hakimpet Airforce station. <br/><br/>The President will stay at Rashtrapati Nilayam Bolarum near Hyderabad, a former Nizam palace and which now serves as a presidential retreat.<br/><br/>Mr Mukherjee will attend several programmes including convocation at the Army College of Dental Sciences in Secunderabad and he will also address centenary celebrations of the Federation of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry tomorrow.
