President Ram Nath Kovind today said, farmers play a major role in nation building and scientists should invent new methods and techniques to increase their income. <br/><br/>Mr Kovind said this while inaugurating the International conference on Agriculture – Agricon 2018 at Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology at Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh. <br/><br/>The President said, agriculture should be linked with agro-based cottage and other industries. He said, the food processing industry should be strengthened as farmers can earn much more by it. <br/>
