President Ram Nath Kovind will arrive in the temple town of Rameswaram today as part of a two-day visit to Tamilnadu. He will offer prayers at the famed Rameswaram temple at 12 noon before paying a visit to the ancestral house of former President APJ Abdul Kalam, which is being preserved as a memorial. Later in the day, Mr Kovind will leave for Chennai via Madurai.
