The President Mrs Pratibha Devisingh Patil on Wednesday presented the ‘Brain Hunt-2012: National Level Creative Competition’ awards to students at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

The competition was organized by Dainik Bhaskar Group for students.

According to a Rashtrapati Bhawan communique, the President also interacted with students and answered questions relating to recreation facilities for the youth and the role of youth in the development of nation. The President said that academic institutions should also focus on providing good recreation facilities to their students, as a healthy mind and a healthy body are equally important for the development of an individual.

Mrs Patil also stressed the need to eliminate evil social practices such as female foeticide, child marriage and addiction from society.
