President Pranab Mukherjee will visit Nepal from 2nd to 4th of next month. He will be accompanied by a high-level delegation. This will be the first visit of a President of India to Nepal in 18 years. During the visit, the President will hold talks with his Nepalese counterpart Bidya Devi Bhandari and have meetings with the Prime Minister and other leaders in Nepal on a wide array of issues of mutual interests. <br/><br/>President Mukherjee's visit reflects the priority that the Government of India attaches to further strengthening its age-old, unique partnership with Nepal, and the shared historical and cultural linkages and wide-ranging people to people contacts. Apart from his official engagements in Kathmandu, the President will also visit Janakpur and Pokhara.
