President Pranab Mukherjee has condoled the passing away of former President of Cuba, Fidel Castro. In a tweet, Mr. Mukherjee described him as a friend of India. Mr Mukherjee called him a revolutionary leader.<br/><br/>Former Cuban president and leader of the Communist revolution, Fidel Castro has died at the age of 90. cuban President Raul Castro announced on national television that Castro breathed his last at 10:29 pm last evening. <br/><br/>Fidel Castro ruled Cuba as a one-party state for almost half a century before handing over the powers to his brother Raul in 2008.
