President Pranab Mukherjee has arrived this evening at the Hanoi International Airport, Vietnam on a 4-day state visit.

He has been accorded a warm welcome by representatives of top Vietnamese leadership. Chairman Vietnam President's Office Dao Viet Trung and Vice minister Foreign Affairs Nguyen Thank Tan were among who received the visiting President.

Mr Mukherjee will be holding a series of bilateral and delegation level talks tomorrow with the top Vietnamese leadership besides paying homage to the Vietnam National heroes and martyrs.

India and Vietnam are likely to sign key Memoranda of Understanding on key sectors on the occasion. The President will inaugurate the Indian Study Center in Hanoi tomorrow.

A high level delegation including Petroleum and Natural gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and 6 MPs is also accompanying.
