President, PM to interact with school students on the eve of Teacher's Day

President Pranab Mukherjee will take a class of students belonging to 11th and 12th today on the eve of Teacher's Day.<br/><br/>An official release said, Mr Mukherjee will hold a joint class of the students of Dr Rajendra Prasad Sarvodhya Vidhalaya school.<br/><br/>The school is located in the Presidential Estate. He will also interact with students and teachers of the school.<br/><br/>Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also interact with school children today on the eve of Teachers' Day.<br/><br/>The event will be held at Manekshaw Hall in New Delhi.<br/><br/>Children from nine states across the country will join the interaction through video-conferencing.<br/><br/>In a tweet, Mr Modi describe his engagement as very close to his heart and said he is looking forward to interact with students.<br/><br/>Prime Minister said, such interaction with school children is refreshing and the enthusiasm of children and their curiosity is always gladdening.<br/><br/>AIR Correspondent reports that the interaction with school childrens will begin at 10 in the morning.<br/><br/>The programme will be broadcast live on All India Radio and Doordarshan.<br/><br/>Eight hundred students and 60 teachers from schools of Delhi will participate in person whereas several talented children from across the country who have excelled in various activities shall interact with the Prime Minister on video conferencing mode from nine different locations.<br/><br/>The Prime Minister will release a commemorative coin of 125 rupees denomination and a circulation coin of ten rupees denomination in the honour of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.<br/><br/>Mr Modi will also launch the Kala Utsav website, which is an initiative of Ministry of Human Resource Development to promote arts in education.<br/><br/>Central Board of Secondary Education ,CBSE has also asked all affiliated schools to make necessary arrangements so that children may get an opportunity to learn from the Prime Minister's interaction.
