President and Prime Minister have congratulated the ISRO scientists on the successful testing of scramjet rocket engine. In his message to Chairman of ISRO A.S. Kiran Kumar, President Pranab Mukherjee said that the launch marks an important landmark in country space programme and demonstrates, India's capabilities in space launch technology, yet again. <br/><br/>He said, with this test, India has joined the select club of nations which have the technology of air breathing engines. Mr Mukherjee said, the nation is proud of this achievement. <br/><br/>Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that successful testing is a testimony to the hardwork and excellence of the scientists. He said, the country has seen time and again how Indian scientists and space programme have made the country very proud.
