President, PM and Home Minister pay tributes to freedom fighter Birsa Munda on birth his birth anniversary

President Ramnath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh have paid tributes to the freedom fighter Birsa Munda on his birth anniversary. In a tweet, Mr Kovind said, tributes to national hero 'Dharti Aba' Birsa Munda and happy to be visiting Jharkhand on this day. <br/> <br/>In his message, Prime Minister said, Birsa Munda's indomitable courage is a source of motivation. Mr Modi said, inspired by the life of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, the government is working towards empowerment of tribal communities, who are India's pride.<br/> <br/> In a tweet, Home Minister said, during independence, he not only played an active role but also united the people of the tribal community. Mr Singh said the country will remember its contribution forever.
