President Pranab Mukherjee today paid obeisance at the Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri in Odisha. Mr. Mukherjee offered prayers this evening to the newly crafted idols of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra inside the sanctum sanctorum of the temple.<br/><br/>Since assuming the highest office of the country, this is the fourth visit of Mr. Mukherjee to Puri Shree Jagannath Temple. The temple was cleared of the outsiders almost for an hour this evening to ensure to enable the President has a perfect darshan of the deities.<br/><br/>Elaborate security arrangements have been made by the police and district administration in Puri where the President is spending tonight in Raj Bhavan. Mr. Mukherjee will fly to Cuttack tomorrow to attend 2nd convocation ceremony of the National Law University in the forenoon. <br/><br/>After the event, he will leave Cuttack to attend a seminar on legal matters at KIIT University in Bhubaneswar before departing to Delhi tomorrow evening.
