The President Pratibha Devisingh Patil emphasised on taking up joint initiatives in cultural and historical areas as they would help keeping alive the age-old relations between India and Cambodia. At the Banquet held in her honour, the President appreciated the restoration efforts by Archaeological Survey of India at Angkor Wat Temples. She will be visiting the world heritage sites at Angkor, once the capital of Khmer Kingdom.
