The President of Nepal, Dr Ram Baran Yadav arrived in New Delhi today on a four-day state visit to India. This is the first visit of Dr Yadav to any country after his election as President in 2008. A number of agreements to boost bi-lateral ties in the areas of infrastructure, trade and investment are expected to be signed during his visit. Dr Yadav will hold talks with the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and other leaders on Tuesday. AIR correspondent reports, the four-day visit, is aimed at deepening the special relationship between the two neighbours. President Yadav is also planning to visit Haridwar.
