President of India presents Hindi Sevi Samman Awards

President Pranab Mukherjee today presented the Hindi Sevi Samman to 26 eminent Hindi scholars for the year 2015 at a function held in Rashtrapati Bhavan. <br/><br/>The scholars received awards in 12 different categories for their contribution in the field of Hindi language and literature. The awards instituted by Central Hindi Institute, Agra in 1989 carry a cash prize of five lakh rupees and citation. <br/><br/>Union Minister of Human Resource Development Prakash Javadekar was also present on the occasion.
