President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan today held talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. <br/><br/>The two leaders discussed ways to intensify cooperation between the two countries. The visiting dignitary also met President Ram Nath Kovind this evening at Rashtrapati Bhavan. <br/><br/>During the meeting, Mr Kovind said, bilateral relations between the two countries are strong but there is scope to enhance trade and economic relations. <br/><br/>He said, the health sector is one of the promising areas of bilateral cooperation. Mr Kovind expressed confidence that this visit would provide a fresh impetus to India-Armenia relations.<br/><br/>The Armenian President will go to Agra on Saturday and visit the Taj Mahal. Bilateral dialogue between India and Armenia is conducted through the mechanisms of Foreign Office Consultations and Inter-Governmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technological, Cultural and Educational Cooperation.
