President Murmu lays foundation stone for restoration works of Kameswaralaya Temple in Mulugu, Telangana

<span style="color: #222222;">President Droupadi Murmu today laid the foundation stone for the restoration works of Kameswaralaya  Temple at Ramappa temple Complex in Mulugu district in Telangana this evening.<br />''<br />''She also laid the foundation stone for the development of Tourism Development of infrastructure at the Temple complex under the PRASHAD scheme of the Union Tourism Ministry.<br />''<br />''The President has earlier called upon the students mainly from Tribal areas, to serve back to society after attaining self-reliance in their life. She said contributing to the progress of society is everyone's duty.<br />''<br />''The President has virtually inaugurated Eklavya Residential Schools at Asifadad and Mahabubabad districts and also inaugurated the Sammakka Saralamma Janjati Pujari's Sammelan at Bhadrachalam in the State.<br />''<br />''Speaking on the occasion, President Murmu appreciated the efforts being made by the Union Tourism Ministry in the name of PRASAD, as improvement in tourism will enhance employment opportunities for the local people.<br />''<br />''The President also said, Tribal Festivals like Sammakka Saralamma will strengthen the cultural ethos.<br />''<br />''AIR correspondent reports, President Droupadi Murmu visited Bhadradri Kothagudem and Mulugu districts in Telangana today where she laid the foundation stone for tourism development projects under the PRASHAD scheme of the Union Tourism ministry.<br />''<br />''As President Murmu put it at one of her speeches earlier in the day, these infrastructure development works will help employment generation to the local people. Both the Districts are Tribal intense ones where the president inaugurated Sammakka Saralamma Janajati Pujaris Sammelan and emphasised that Tribal fairs will help strengthening Cultural ethos.<br />''<br />''Besides offering prayers at Sri SitaramaChandraswamy Temple at Bhadrachalam, the President has visited world heritage Ramappa Temple in Mulugu.   </span>
