President Pranab Mukherjee will today felicitate freedom fighters across the country in Patna on occasion of ongoing centenary celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi's Champaran Satyagraha. <br/><br/>Around 3,000 freedom fighters have reached Patna to participate in this memorable event. The state government will also honour those freedom fighters who could not attend the function due to health or other reasons. Women freedom fighters will also be felicitated. <br/><br/>Earlier, Governor Ram Nath Kovind and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar welcomed the President at Patna airport.
