President Pranab Mukherjee has conveyed greetings to the nation on the eve of Milad-un-Nabi, the birthday of the Holy Prophet. The President hoped that the Holy Prophet's message inspires everyone to work towards universal brotherhood, compassion, and tolerance. <br/><br/>In his message, Mr Mukherjee said everyone should recall the life and ideals of the Prophet and re-dedicate themselves to the service of humanity.<br/>'<br/>Conveying greetings and best wishes to the people on the auspicious occasion, Vice President Hamid Ansari said the Holy Prophet showed humanity the righteous path of compassion and universal brotherhood. He hoped that the Prophet's eternal message continue to guide in building a peaceful and harmonious society.
