President Pranab Mukherjee today expressed confidence that the Armoured Corps Centre and School will continue to strive for excellence with professional zeal and serve the nation in years to come. <br/><br/>The President, who is also Supreme Commander of Indian Armed Forces, presented the prestigious President's Standard to the Armoured Corps Centre and School during a function at Ahmednagar in Maharashta. The standard to the Armoured Corps Centre and School was received by Comandent of the Corps Major General Pravin Deexit .<br/><br/>Describing the armed forces as a major source of national power, Mr Mukherjee said, although India is a peace loving nation, it will use all instruments of national power to protect the sovereignty. <br/><br/>On the occasion, the President also paid homage to the gallant soldiers of armoured Corps who made their supreme sacrifice in service to the nation.
