President Kovind visits Tirumala in Andhra Pradesh; offers prayers at hill shrine of Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy

President Ram Nath Kovind today visited the holy city of Tirumala in Andhra Pradesh's Chittoor District. He has offered prayers at the hill shrine of Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy along with his family members. A special puja has been held in the temple amidst the presence of the priests.<br />'' <br />''Elaborate security arrangements have been put in place by the Tirupati Urban police wing.  All Covid-19 precautions have been followed during the President's visit to Tirupathi and Tirumala.  During his seven-hour pilgrimage, the President has visited  the Sri Padmavathi temple at Tiruchanoor, Bhu Varahaswamy temple and Lord Venkateswara  Swamy temple at Tirumala.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Earlier, Governor Biswa  Bhusan Harichandan, Chief Minister Y.S.
