The President Ram Nath Kovind visited National Institute for Locomotor Disabilities (NILD) in Kolkata this morning.<br />'' <br />''The President interacted with indoor patients who have been admitted for various rehabilitation services. He also spoke to rehabilitated patients, caregivers and doctors of the institute besides spending time over snacks with the children.<br />'' <br />''West Bengal Governor Mr.Jagdeep Dhankhar, Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Dr. Thavarchand Gehlot were present.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Later, the Director of NILD Dr. Saktipada Das told that the President complimented the Institute for setting up a new unit containing various sensory equipment which will help in the rehabilitation of children with various disabilities in empowering their movements, behavioural and mental learning process.</span><br />
