President Ram Nath Kovind will arrive in Ladakh this morning. He will first present President's Colour to the Ladakh scouts regiment and its five other units. Later, the president will head to the Mahabodhi international meditation centre to put a foundation stone of the Buddha park. <br/><br/>The President will also pay tributes to Bharat Ratna Dr BR Ambedkar at Ambedkar park inside the Mahabodhi campus.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that this is the first visit of president kovind to ladakh after becoming president of India. It is also a movement of pride for ladakh scouts regiment as the president himself is presenting President's Colour to the regiment and its five associate units.<br/><br/>Ladakh scouts regiment is the youngest and one of the most decorated regiment in India. <br/><br/>The event will also be attended by Jammu and Kashmir governor N.N Vohra, Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh, Chief of Army staff Bipin Rawat, and leaders of ladakhi community and local administration among other.<br/>
