President Mr Ram Nath Kovind today said that the country is progressing in the field of food processing with increase in milk, fruits and vegetables production. Mr Kovind was addressing the convocation at National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurial and Management (NIFTM) in Sonipat.<br/>He said that the institutes like NIFTM had played a pivotal role for the development of this sector giving skill and technology to save the wastages of farmers produce like vegetables, fruits and milk.He said that the NIFTM can play a pivotal role in the world in the field of food processing technology and management.<br/>President also called on the passing out students to work for nation building by using their skills and experience for the welfare of farmers. <br/><br/>
