President Ram Nath Kovind has said that the Public Interest Litigation, PIL tradition is an Indian contribution to the practice of law.<br />''<br />''He said the process of justice delivery and the idealism and simplicity of the Supreme Court responding to even a petition filed on a postcard is worthy of appreciation. Mr Kovind was speaking after receiving the first copy of the book "Law, Justice and Judicial Power – Justice PN Bhagwati's Approach" from Chief Justice of India Justice Ranjan Gogoi, who released it at a function in New Delhi on Friday.
