President Ram Nath Kovind has condoled the death of renowned Commentator and Radio News Anchor Jasdev Singh. In a tweet, Mr Kovind said, Singh's voice was a national treasure, and his commentary brought alive so many sports events and ceremonial occasions to millions.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Mr Singh passed away at his home in New Delhi yesterday. He was 87. He was suffering from Alzheimer's disease. The renowned commentator was born on 18th May 1931 at Bonli village in Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan. He started his career as an Announcer at All India Radio, Jaipur in 1955. He became first news reader at Regional News Unit, Jaipur and read the first bulletin.</span><br />
