President Ramnath Kovind arrived in Raipur on a two day visit to Chhattisgarh. Governor Balramji Das Tandon and Chief Minister Raman Singh welcomed President at Swami Vivekanand Airport. After his arrival at Raipur, President first visited Shahid samark premises in Mana and paid homage to martyred jawans.<br/><br/>President will participate in the valedictory function of the 18th statehood day celebrations today evening at Naya Raipur, the new state capital of Chhattisgarh. During the Rajyotsav valedictory function, President will present the state level awards to 18 personalities and five organizations for their outstanding contribution to their respective fields.
