<span style="color: #222222;">President Ram Nath Kovind today said the timeless teachings of Lord Buddha and Gandhi are panacea for fundamental problems faced by individuals, a community, a country and the entire world. Addressing 50th anniversary of establishment of Vishwa Shanti Stupa (World Peace Pagoda) at Rajgir in Bihar, Mr. Kovind said, the teaching of Lord Buddha can do lot for conflict resolution in present day. He said, these days there is a need to connect larger number of people with ideals of Buddha so that peace can prevail in the world.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' The President said, peace is pre-condition of development. He said, spirituality, peace and development reinforce each other while conflict, turmoil and under-development feed upon each other. He emphasized to promote heritage tourism and build circuits related to places linked with Lord Buddha so that youths can be effectively connected to ideals of Buddhism.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' The President said, there is profound influence of ideals and symbols of Buddhism on our democracy besides this message of equality, moderation and non-violence in rational manner attracts modern minds.<br />'' Governor Fagu Chauhan, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and other dignitaries graced the Golden Jubilee celebration of Rajgir Vishwa Shanti Stupa.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' More than 300 Buddhist monks, devotees and delegates from Japan, Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and other countries participated in the function.</span><br />'' &nbsp;
