President Pranab Mukherjee today hosted tea in the honour of 1965 war veterans at Rashtrapati Bhavan. <br/><br/>On the occasion, the President felicitated Air Marshal Arjan Singh for his valour, courage and leadership during the war. <br/><br/>Mr Mukherjee also felicitated Company Quartermaster Havildar Abdul Hamid, Lieutenant Colonel Ardeshir Burzorji Tarapore and Fireman Chaman Lal posthumously for their sacrifice in the war. <br/><br/>Vice President Hamid Ansari, Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan, former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, Senior BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, Chiefs of Army, Navy and Air Force and several serving and retired ex-servicemen were present on the occasion.
