President Pranab Mukherjee has greeted teachers on the eve of Teachers' Day. <br/>In his message, Mr Mukherjee said, teachers' day is an occasion to recognise the dedicated services of the teachers, who are engaged in building and strengthening the intellectual and ethical foundations of the children. <br/><br/>He said, a sound education system is the bedrock of an enlightened society and inspired teachers are the building blocks of a good education system. President said, the teachers also need to imbibe technology and new methodologies to create modern and effective approaches to teaching and learning.<br/><br/>Mr Mukherjee will interact with students of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Sarvodaya Vidyalaya located at President's Estate tomorrow on the occasion of Teachers' Day. <br/>Around 80 students of classes 11th and 12th will attend the class. <br/>He will also address teachers of various schools of Delhi. <br/><br/>The entire event will be telecast live on DD (News) and DD Bharati Channels of Doordarshan from 10:30 AM onwards. <br/>It will also be webcast live on the President of India website and live-streamed on the YouTube channel of Rashtrapati Bhavan.
