President Pranab Mukherjee has greeted the people on the occasion of Dussehra tomorrow. In his message, Mr. Mukherjee said, he has great pleasure in extending warm greetings and good wishes to all fellow citizens on the joyous occasion of Dussehra. The President said, the auspicious season is a time when people of India re-enact their great epic Ramayana and celebrate the triumph of truth and righteousness over evil forces. Mr. Mukherjee also wished the festival may stimulate in all of us the determination to emulate the righteousness of the Maryada Purush, the loyalty of his brothers Bharath and Lakshmana, the virtues of Sita and the valour as well as humility of Hanuman.

Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari has also greeted the nation. In his message, he said, the celebration of this festival reinforces the eternal message of triumph of good over evil and unites the people in a spirit of brotherhood and amity. Mr Ansari conveyed his best wishes for peace, progress and prosperity for all our citizens.
