President Pranab Mukherjee has expressed grief over the loss of lives in a stampede at Pushkarulu Ghat of Godavari River in Andhra Pradesh. In his message to, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh E.S.L. Narasimhan, Mr Mukherjee said, he is saddened to learn about the stampede, where a number of devotees have lost their lives and many others are injured. Mr Mukherjee called upon the State Government and other authorities to provide all possible aid to the bereaved families.
