President-elect of the United Nations General Assembly and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovak Republic Miroslav Lajcak called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi today. <br/><br/>The Prime Minister congratulated Mr Lajcak on his election to the post of President of the 72nd UN General Assembly. <br/><br/>President-elect Lajcak shared his priorities for the upcoming 72nd UN General Assembly. Mr Modi assured him of India's full and constructive cooperation in discharging his new responsibilities. <br/><br/>Both leaders discussed the need for stronger UN action on major global challenges including terrorism, United Nations reform, implementation of Sustainable Development Goals, and climate change.
