President Pranab Mukherjee has described his four day state visit to China as fruitful and productive. In a statement at the end of the visit today, Mr. Pranab Mukherjee said, he had multifaceted and comprehensive interaction with Chinese leadership. He said, there is a national consensus with in India on strengthening ties with China. The two countries agreed on the need to build a solid foundation of goodwill.<br/><br/>On boundary issue, the President in his statement said that Chinese leadership conveyed their resolve to seek a fair, reasonable and mutually acceptable solution at an early date.<br/><br/>The Chinese side expressed appreciation for the visa facilitation measured adopted by India especially introduction of e-visa for promotion of business and trade. China also agreed to enhance cooperation with India on combating terrorism including in UN.
